“The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honours the servant and has forgotten the gift.” Albert Einstein
When we meditate, we bring ourselves a gift. Life brings up many questions and all of the answers to the questions lie within ourselves. First of all, we need to be willing to stop and to turn within. Then we can learn to look, listen, and trust. The word trust comes from the Old Norse ‘traust’, which held the meaning of ‘strong’.
We know that good relationships are built on trust. Trust implies belief, faith, and certainty. To have such confidence makes us strong. We can find such strength within by allowing time to meditate and tune in to our intuitive selves.
Let the rational mind be in its proper place, subservient for once! Remember the gift of intuition, which is freely given to us and let us honour it, by trusting it. It will be interesting to see how much stronger we feel when we practise this.
